Central Career Services is proud to introduce Syracuse University’s Inaugural Career Conference. As the first event of its kind, the conference is designed to support students at every stage of their career journey, across all majors and experience levels. Taking place Thursday and Friday, March 26–27, the conference will transform the Panasci Lounge of the Schine Student Center into a dynamic, two-day hub for career exploration, professional development, and meaningful connection.
Whether you are a first-year student beginning to explore career possibilities or a senior navigating today’s competitive job market, the conference offers accessible support through employer and alumni panels, skill-building workshops, coffee chats, and networking opportunities.
A Reenvisioned Approach to Career Exploration
As the University’s first Career Conference, the 2026 event moves beyond the traditional career fair model to offer a more interactive and student-centered experience. Through employer and alumni panels, LinkedIn Learning workshops, and networking opportunities, students can explore diverse career paths while gaining practical tools and an increased sense of career clarity.
Conference highlights include Morning Coffee Chats with employers and alumni, a Thursday afternoon keynote focused on navigating today’s evolving workforce, and networking opportunities designed to foster authentic, low-pressure conversations. Panels will address topics of interest to students across every school while navigating today’s evolving job market, where skills, adaptability, and strong networks matter more than ever.
Throughout the conference, workshops and hands-on sessions will focus on career readiness essentials, including resume support, internship and job search strategies, Handshake 101, financial literacy, networking etiquette, mock interviews, and AI-powered job search tools. These sessions are designed to empower undergraduate students to explore diverse career paths while promoting career readiness.
