Health Professions Immersion Trip

This event will take place on Friday, December 5, 2025.  The immersion trip consists of an all-day experience with local organizations in various healthcare sectors in Syracuse. Past Pre-Health immersion trips have included visits to: Upstate  Medical University, Onondaga Health Department, Golisano Children’s Hospital, Lotte Biologics and more.  The event will also include a networking dinner with professionals currently working in a variety of health professions. Lunch and Dinner, as well as transportation to and from campus, will be included. All students participating will be required to attend a virtual networking training session prior to the trip, as well as have their resume reviewed. Students must be in good standing, and their application must include their resume and a personal statement on how this experience will benefit their academics and career goals.  The personal statement should be at least half a page and no more than 2 pages, 12 sized font, double-spaced.
