ECS Student Leadership Conference

This conference is designed to provide students in ECS with leadership development training, career preparation strategies, and support ECS Welcome Week initiatives.

Participate in sessions targeting the NACE Competencies for a Career-Ready Workforce as they relate to your leadership role or interests:
Career & Self-Development
Critical Thinking
Equity & Inclusion

Additional benefits to participating:
• ALL participants will receive a t-shirt, Employer Partner swag bag, certificate of completion
• Student Organizations must participate to be able to request funds from the College for conference travel and other professional development
• Student Organizations that have 1 elected member, and 1 additional member (elected or general body) of their organization register for the “student organization track” of the conference schedule will be allocated $250 toward organization activities during the year
• Participants who serve on the ECS Welcome Team will be PAID for the hours related to ECS Welcome, approximately 16 hours (this does not apply to AEW Facilitators who will have other obligations during this timeframe)
• Participants will have the opportunity to be considered for paid student assistant positions during the year with the Office of Student Success & Career Services
