We’ve aggregated several internship search sites into one place so that can find resources for your internship search. Below is a sampling of resources, but there are many more available right at your googling fingertips!

SEARCH ENGINES

  • OrangeLink Search for jobs and internships posted specifically for Syracuse Unveristy students and alumni, research career fields and employers, participate in on-campus recruiting, and much more.
    Login via MySlice> Student Services> Career Services> OrangeLink and select the Jobs/Internships tab from the top banner> OrangeLink Posting and begin your search.
  • Internships - USA Find summaries and links to internships in many fields including sports, for-profits, communications, human services, social change/human rights, politics, the environment, and more.  Click Internships For Undergraduates.  Login information: username: Syracuse, password: GoOrange. (Username and password are case sensitive.)
  • Vault Online Career Library Search for internships and research employers by field and industry to identify potential employers.  To access Vault, click on “Log In” or “Create Account.”
  • WayUP a free resource that helps students find opportunities across the United States.  WayUp highlights entry-level jobs and internships while having a leading list of startup and non-profit positions.
  • Indeed A one-stop-shop, Indeed is an effective way of finding internships currently available on the web.
  • JobSource Internships are searchable by state in the US and Canada within non-profit, government and private sectors.
  • Intern Queen Inc. Search and apply to internships and learn more about everything internship on their blog and articles, which are written by students.
  • MonsterCollege A resource connected to Monster.com that provides internship searches, tips, strategies and articles.

  • NY Assembly Internship New York State Assembly offers college students a chance to participate in state government and the legislative process through a practical learning experience.
  • NY Senate Internship New York State Senate Student Programs offers undergraduate and graduate students opportunities to learn about state government and to experience the legislative process firsthand.
  • The Pathways Programs for Students and Recent Graduates Links to opportunities and student jobs in the Federal government.
  • Idealist Great source for opportunities in nonprofit and social change organizations both nationally and internationally.
  • Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) Enables undergrads to find technical and non-technical research opportunities.
  • US Dept. of State Student Programs Offers internships, fellowships, and other opportunities for students who are interested in working in a foreign affairs environment.

  • City of New York Internships Several offices and agencies of the NYC government offer summer internships. Start here! Postings usually update in the month of March.
