Syracuse University Career Services Network is proud to sponsor, host and contribute to a wide array of Career Fairs and Career-related events. We strive to offer opportunities that will appeal to a broad range of students and employers. Please feel free to contact us to participate in one or more of the events listed below.
- Local Internship Fair (September 25, 2012)
Offered during the fall, this event provides an opportunity for Central New York employers to meet with students to discuss academic year and summer internships, and to collect resumes. - iSchool Fall 2012 Career Fair (October 1, 2012)
The School of Information Studies offers a targeted career fair allowing employers to interact specifically with undergraduate and graduate students in the information management and technology fields. - Whitman School of Management Career Fairs (October 1-3, 2012)
The Whitman School of Management offers business discipline-specific career fairs, which offer companies a means for focusing on candidates with the academic training appropriate for careers within your firm.

- Diversity In The Workplace (October 2, 2012)
This interactive event prepares students from diverse identities to succeed in an increasingly complex global marketplace. This signature event will provide you with ample opportunities to network with students from diverse populations through meaningful events and activities. - Resumania (October 2, 2012)

- LCS Engineering Career Connections Fair (October 2, 2012)
The LCS Engineering Career Connections fair offers employers the opportunity to connect with students pursuing degrees in engineering and computer science. Our students are eager to connect with industry professionals. Their highly marketable skills and experiences make them competitive candidates. We welcome your participation. - Fall Career Fair at the Dome (October 3, 2012)
This event is the largest career fair offered at Syracuse University. This unique career event features a faculty luncheon and an opportunity to network with more than 2,000 quality prospective candidates! Employers from all types of industries, businesses and government agencies have an opportunity to meet students and faculty in an informal setting to discuss internships, post-graduate opportunities and emerging needs, and to collect resumes. - Interview Blitz Day (October 4, 2012)

- Big East E-Fair (Fall 2012, date TBD)
The Big East Virtual Career Fair is an entirely Internet-based job fair. On November 10, recruiters will be "live" at their booth to answer questions; there will also be 7 additional days of online activity. This is a great way to search for permanent jobs, summer, co-op, and internship positions without leaving your room!
- Emerging Student Leaders Reception (Spring 2013, date TBD)
An opportunity to interact with First and Second Year students who have been identified by their peers, faculty and/or staff as individuals who show great potential for leadership. This event, held in the spring, allows Career Services to recognize these developing student leaders during a short ceremony which provides you with direct access to these students during the networking reception. - Spring Career Expo (Spring 2013, date TBD)
Not just another career fair! This event kicks off the spring recruiting season and combines two successful events: The Spring Career and Internship Fairs. This is a great opportunity to connect with 1500+ amazing students, looking for both full-time and internship opportunities. - Nonprofit & Government Career Fair (February, 2013)

- Environmental Career Fair (February, 2013)
The Environmental Career Fair is open to students from ESF and SU and offers them an opportunity to meet potential employers looking to fill full-time positions, as well as seasonal and summer employment and internships. A four part preparation series before the career fair is offered to assist students in creating a resume and cover letter, learning how to dress for the career fair, etc., and developing strategies for succeeding at the career fair as well as an etiquette dinner. - Big East Career Fair (March, 2013)
The Big East Career Fair, held prior to the Big East Basketball Tournament Semifinals in March, is held at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The event connects employers with students from the 16 colleges and universities in the Big East Consortium. - Sustainability Career Fair (TBD, 2013)
This fair is designed to enhance awareness of careers, internships, graduate and employment opportunities within the field. It will bring together public and private sector employers whose expertise and interests lie in this area. The fair will give representatives from public agencies, consulting firms, nonprofit organizations and business and industry an opportunity to connect with top undergraduate and graduate students.
