HOW ALUMNI CAN HELP
One of the most valuable aspects of Syracuse University is the vast network of alumni who are incredibly passionate about Syracuse and are anxious to help students both while they’re still in school and long after graduation.
Curious about the best ways to connect with current students? Here’s how!
SUCCESS IN THE CITY
Attend a SUccess in the City event in a city near you! The Office of Alumni Engagement hosts these networking events across different cities every summer. Our established alumni in those cities welcome alumni, new graduates, and current students and make connections.
JOIN AN ALUMNI CLUB
Join an alumni club where you live, chances are good that there’s an Syracuse University alumni club within driving distance. Club events offer great networking opportunities. Gather to watch an SU game and you may leave with a new job prospect! (list of alumni club locations).
Join the ’CuseConnect group on LinkedIn. ’CuseConnect is made up of alumni and students who love Syracuse as much as you do. Join the group and take part in relevant career discussions, message fellow members directly, and share opportunities that you think other members might want to know about.
Is your company hiring? Want to add a little more ORANGE to your office?
Please email a link to the job or internship description (or multiple descriptions!) to our newly created email address that is JUST for job opportunities in the Orange family. It’s firstname.lastname@example.org. If you are willing to have our newest grads and/or fellow alumni contact you about the openings, please give us the OK in your email. We post these opportunities both in our 'CuseConnect group and on Twitter under #HireOrange.
@WorkingOrange is job shadowing, Twitter style! The account features alumni guest tweeters who share their days with us. You can learn all about the interesting career paths fellow alumni have embarked on.
Interested in being an alumni tweeter for the day? Fill out this form and we'll get in touch with you!
